In order to raise the profile and deliver key messages across to a wider audience, we rely very much on our regular supporters within our local community.

We have already established strong links with the following community groups :-

- Handsworth Grammer School for Boys
- King Edwards Girls Grammar School (Handsworth)
- Dartmouth High School (Great Barr)
- St Andrews C of E Church (Handsworth)
- Elmwood United Reformed Church (Handsworth Wood)
- Sutton Coldfield Carnival
- Paulo's Circus

One of our main Community Partners is Handsworth Grammar School, they held a non-uniform day. They also awarded our scheme with 4 new laptops and sponsored the filming and production of a promotional video and DVD about raising awareness of Home-Start, this support has been extremely valuable in order to carry out our essential work.

Some of the visits that we have been able to provide with the support of our local community have included:-

- Teddy Bear's Picnic at a National Trust property
- Teddy Bear's Picnic at King Edwards Grammar School for Girls (Handsworth)
- Trip to Legoland (Windsor)
- Trip to Drayton Manor Park and Zoo
- 5 day Holiday to "Pontins" (Brean Sands)
- Christmas visit to Ash-End-House Farm (Tamworth) to visit Santa and the animals
- Trips to see Christmas Plays and Pantomimes
